It was good to see you!

Hey college girls!
I just wanted to say that it was good to see you while you were home on spring break. Not that I was able to visit with you much at all, but the fact that I was able to talk with you a little bit and see your ever smiling faces was still fun.
Sorry I wasn't able to be at the party the other night - duty called, somebody has to run "Juba's" ya know...a grocery store that NOBODY was shopping at that evening and I could've been having fun with you all instead! Oh well, at least I'll have a paycheck this week =) ha!
I love all you girls - keep posting those fun pics on your blogs. Do you feel majorly popular since you're on like everyone's website after coming home? You know you're loved and adored by all, right?
I hope the rest of your semester goes great and can't wait to have you home for the summer!!!
OK, I was just looking for a picture to put on here of you girls and I'm realizing we need to do a photo shoot... I HAVE NO PICTURES OF YOU!!!! What do you say we do a photo shoot this summer with my fun new camera for work? You can help me build my portfolio again =)

A Dream Come True

This guy is seriously a dream come true! I'm pretty sure a guy can't get any better than Rob. Ok, maybe I'm a bit partial so all you girls can think your guy is the best, but I claim Rob top notch =)
He is incredible with Mady and she smiles every time she looks at his picture - one week and he has won her heart for a lifetime. Her heart isn't the only one swept away. We love you, Rob.
Top: Monday, after waiting an extra 4 1/2 hours before seeing each other because of the MAJOR snowstorm. Thanks for letting me stay with you Nicci, you are a lifesaver! middle: something happened as Tara took this picture and captured a funny moment - I thought it was a cute picture. Bottom: Rob and Mady waiting for breakfast.

The Birthday Girl

Here's the birthday girl!
The guest list included: Great Grandpa and Grandma Jenson, Uncle Micah - who is going to kill me for putting the party hat picture on my blog (I'm sure I owe him for something he's done to me in life...there ya have it!),Grandpa and Grandma Jenson, cousins: Toria, Isaac, and Sophia (Drem and Mama were sick). Aunt Tara, Rob, and Mom-mom.

Mady didn't really like cake, but she loved the ice cream. That's a treat she and mom-mom have every now and then, Ok, maybe more often then we should.

Mady's 1st Birthday Party

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADELYNN!!!!!!
We were finally able to celebrate Mady's first birthday. The party was all set to take place on her actual birthday, but great Grandpa Jenson had to go in for emergency heart surgery. He and great Grandma really wanted to be at the party so we waited until he was completely healed up and able to go out. When that time came it just happened to be when Rob was here visiting. I was so happy to have Rob there with us to celebrate Mady's birthday. He was there for her first birthday and will be for many more too. That makes mom-mom and Mady very happy =)
To add an extra note: My sister, Tara, made the cake and cupcakes. She does a great job and makes birthdays for her nieces and nephews extra special with her fun-lovin' cakes.

A visit to Grandpa and Grandma Paplow's

Mady had a great time playing peek-a-boo with Grandpa and Grandma Paplow. Not to mention the quality time hanging out with her aunts, Malori and Rachel. We went for a little visit a couple weekends ago so she could spend some time with her dad's side of the family. One thing is for sure, this little girl can NEVER say that nobody loves her...she has a HUGE fan club.

Can you believe it?

I would like to introduce to you my absolutely adorable boyfriend, Rob Bogle.
Rob and I met at Maranatha Baptist Bible College back in 2000. We did the whole flirty thing back in the day, but neither of us ever did anything about it. We have always stayed friends, but obviously ended up dating other people. Our friendship has become so amazing, and just by talking over the phone.
There was only about a year or so that we lost touch, but Rob came across my email address - that I have had FOREVER - along with a number of other friends from school, but mine was the only one that still worked. What are the odds! God has had a plan all along =) Anyway, we have been calling and writing for nearly 2 years now. He has been my encouragement through the hard times the last couple years. In the back of my mind I always wondered if something more was meant to be between us - though for the longest time I only wanted friendship because my heart belonged to another man (Note: Dan and I will always be good friends, but only friends.) Yeah, you all know the story so I won't go into the soap opera...God is so good!!
I do not deserve the love of such a great man as Rob, but I have that love and I will cherish him for as long as I can.
Rob came to visit for a week - a week that went entirely too fast I might add. I so didn't want him to go back to Ohio. For the first time in my life I've heard the words "I love you" and I know he truly means it. He loves me for who I am - not what I could be, he loves me as me - not someone he wants to make me into, he loves me...that's really all I have to say, HE LOVES ME!!! =)
This is dedicated to the one I love... Rob Bogle.
Thank you, Rob, for your friendship, your example, your encouragement, your leadership, your accepting Madelynn and loving her as your own, and your love for me. I love you and I miss you so very very much!

Good Time In My HighChair

Mady is always a character, but it seems as though her highchair brings out her sillyness. From the delicate way she eats pudding to the way she places any kind of a rag on top of her head and performs - whether you're watching or not. We can't forget how she likes the feel of the itsy bitsy bit of hair she has sticking to the back of her chair when the cover isn't on the back of the highchair. What a silly little girl!
