Update

I know everyone is wondering where in the world the updated pictures are, especially since Mady is officially a 1 year old. Well, Mady's b-day party was post-poned to an unknown date (poor little girl) because my grandpa had open-heart surgery on Mady's b-day. Great-grandpa really wanted to be at the party so we are waiting until he is well enough to come. We may bring the party to him at Parker Oaks where he is in rehab for the next few weeks.
Grandpa is recovering very well - better than most younger people that go through such a surgery. The doctors were impressed with how quickly his body heals.
Mady is officially ONE!!! Wow, I can't believe I'm a mom-mom of a one year old already. She is cruising around the house now. She takes some unsteady steps walking around on her own, but when she walks with her "walk behind" toy that she got for her birthday she practically runs.
She is starting to talk more and really likes puppies. She says, 'pup-pup' for puppy, oof! to imitate mommy imitating a puppy =) and she definitely has "brrrr" down when we go outside or when she gets out of the tub. What a doll!
If I can get ahold of some pictures I will put a post on the site from the "Fear Factor Food Challenge" that I participated in at the employee holiday party I went to this last weekend. Note: I was really far from winning, but you'll understand why when I update you on what I actually consumed and put into my body. YUCK!!! I'm going to leave you hanging though as to what that was so you have something to look forward to on my site =) haha! I'm so mean. Until then...
